VISION U

Prior to pairing youth with adults, volunteers must complete Vision U training to get certified as Vision Coaches (mentors).  Vision U is a workshop designed to help future mentors experience the CR Dreams curriculum for themselves.

In addition to helping adults go through the same self-discovery and life assessment processes that our youth do to create better understanding, this program also helps build the skills and tools necessary to be a truly impactful influence.

LBA ENGAGE

Many organizations are looking at ways to address diversity, equity, and inclusion and are admittedly struggling. Traditional DEI trainings have often resulted in pushback from staff, created acrimony amongst peers, and often created a fear of quotas and mandates within an organization. LBA looked at reams of data covering the last few decades and saw a revealing pattern that traditional DEI trainings usually have no lasting impact.  We believe this is because traditional DEI trainings focus on creating understandings about different types of groups of people, and don’t focus on the key skill of genuinely seeing people as individuals.
